Well we just had our first International Customer Service Meeting for all chapters and it went very well. There is a great push to unify the chapters, bring together customer service information and training and deliver wonderful customer service content online. It looks like Florida has a great chapter and our National meeting will be in Texas this year.
We will be having these customer service meetings every month, so if you have an item you would like to get into the ICSA let us know so we can bring it up for you.
We are also always looking for more Customer Service Professionals and organizations that want to join. So if your company has a customer service department and you are in charge or involved in any way drop us a line and let us know how we can help your business help your customers!

ICSA GEORGIA UPDATE

Our hallmark event continues to be the Annual Customer Service Gala, now in its 18th year. The event encourages companies to showcase their employees for displaying excellence in customer service during this celebration. The first week of October each year has been designated as “National Customer Service Week”. This chapter is proud as the signature ownership of this event in Atlanta. The annual gala has attracted attendance of 175 to 250 celebrants from an impressive roster of companies. A sample of participants in our “annual gala” includes such well recognized brand names as:

ICSA/Georgia offers informative, engaging programs, quarterly, and hosts an annual silent auction for charities selected by a support group of others. As always, the chapter regularly invites state-wide, and ICSA national members to join its dynamic network of speakers and presenters as we provide top notch chapter events.
In recognition of many years of service, the chapter has appointed its first “Lifetime Honorary Member,” Roger Dottin – Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (Retired). Roger is a welcome guest of honor at every year’s annual gala and continues to join several metro area “ICSA Customer Service Certification” graduates as well-qualified ambassadors for ICSA.
The chapter maintains a website (www.icsageorgia.org) to reflect current activities, promote National Customer Service Week and keep customer care pros connected with the sister associations such as ATA, CRMA, HDI and SOCAP – all striving to add value to the evolution of quality customer relationships.
Chapter officers consistently represent the finest large, medium and small organizations that express a passion for service through membership dues, volunteer hours and financial support. Current year officers are no exception. It is with pride that ICSA/Georgia Chapter offers open participation to customer service professionals statewide.
